I did it alone as a lvl 20 N. Elf Priest, watch out for the patroling mobs that are walking around! Comment by Thottbot The gem has a low drop rate. It took me about 30minutes to find it and 10 more minutes for my quest partner to find it.

On my NE priest i got it first kill and with my NE rogue i gave up because couldn't get it. My shaman is now working on the quest hopefully it drops tonight. Comment by Allakhazam you get it from the patrol that wonders around there :P, with my human paladin and with my NE hunter i got it from the patrol.
